Fermented Chia Pudding

This fermented chia pudding recipe comes with a video you can watch only if you are a member of Gaia. Either way the full recipe is provided. Very simple to make, and you can use different things as a starter if you don’t have whey from home made kefir. I have seen people use the powder from a probiotic capsule, but you could also use rejuvelac (that you can make yourself) or other starters. If you don’t know what rejuvelac is stay tuned, I’ll post that next and will post some more info about the benefits if chia.
Fermented Chia Pudding
This single serve breakfast pudding is seriously delicious and unbelievably nutritious.
Serves: 1
Why It’s Good For You:
The chia seeds are high in omega 3 fats, essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, manganese, potassium and zinc, B vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. The coconut kefir is a source of caprylic and lauric acids, substances that feed beneficial gut microbes. Maca is a wonderful food for balancing hormones and is very beneficial for reproductive health.
