Nebulizing Colloidal Silver for Lung and Sinus Issues

by Angie Mohr
For many lung/sinus issues nebulizing colloidal silver has shown to be very beneficial for adults, children and even pets. I once saw a picture of an iguana being nebulized in reviews for a nebulizer on Amazon.
When first starting out it is not uncommon for nebulizing to cause people to cough. That is the lungs adjusting and should go away pretty quickly. Start out with shorter and more frequent sessions when this occurs until lungs adjust.
Nebulizers normally come with a mouth piece and a mask and often include a smaller mask for children. I prefer the mouth piece for lungs because the mask causes liquid to collect and drip down my face, but for sinus issues inhaling through the nose is necessary and easiest with a mask. I consider it a good way to get to the ears as well since sinus and ears are connected.
Cool mist humidifiers can be filled with CS to mist a room for hours at a time. I turn mine on at bedtime and let it run through the night, sanitizing the air and lungs which I think is good for lung and sinus maintenance.
I also use my nano mister daily for lung maintenance and for misting hands, eyes, phone, keyboard, shopping cart handles and more. It’s small and convenient so I use it daily. I would never get around to plugging in a nebulizer unless I was very ill, but even when I had a bad flu of some sort in Oct 2023 I stuck to my nano mister. Call me lazy but that’s how I get myself to use it often enough for best results. I kicked two colds to the curb before they even settled in with my nano mister by inhaling it steady for an hour as soon as I felt something starting, and I mean AS SOON. Not an hour later, not the next morning, but right there on the spot, at 3:00 a.m. Waiting until morning would not have ended as well. I also gargled and drank a lot of CS during that hour and took high dose vitamin C. For lung and sinus maintenance I just use it for a couple minutes 1-2x daily for a couple minutes when I think about it.
How To Use a Nebulizer
Adults – fill the neb cup with colloidal silver and use as needed, at least 2x a day and more if needed.
Children – Same as adults, full neb cup at least 2x a day. Some children don’t sit still long enough so they should do shorter and more frequent sessions in that case.
Pets – Put the pet in a pet carrier, cover well with a towel, and let the nebulizer mist straight into the carrier. I would do a full neb cup at a time if the pet doesn’t complain too much about being confined.
Babies – Try a small mask on their face while awake, but some have had to just put the mask right by their face as they sleep if the baby is being fussy about it.
People with serious pneumonia, lung cancer, asthma, COPD and other chronic lung issues have been known to nebulize CS 8 for hours straight each day, so that is why I say “as needed” since it’s so safe and depends on what you are treating.
Nebulizers can be shared no problem, but it might be a good idea for each family member to have their own mask, but certainly can be cleaned well then shared. Wash with mild soap, then I spray them with CS.
If you type NEBULIZING into the group search box you will find substances like h202 that you can nebulize with saline or add it to CS when nebulizing. I will not discuss all of the things you can add here as there are already detailed posts in the group on that topic. Common additions would be h202, iodine, vitamin C, glutathione and DMSO, but again, these are discussed in other posts that you can find with the group search box.
Many people ask about essential oil diffusers. These hold such a small amount of CS so would use this as perhaps a last resort, and would have to be right there inhaling the mist as it comes out and they will not do much for an entire room.
If you don’t own a nebulizer you might think about it as it’s a great thing to have on hand when needed. Ask in comments for recommendations.

Hello Angie, quick question for you. My husband has been sick and I told him to nebulize CS and he has been diligent in doing so, but it seems like his lungs are getting worse.
im worried I instructed him incorrectly.. do you have to add saline to the nebulizer or is straight CS okay?
